Are you thinking of becoming a MSA coach or referee?

Coaching and refereeing is fun and incredibly rewarding. As a MSA team member, you'll work closely with children to nurture a love for sport, developing physical literacy, and empowering them to find their ideal pathway within the sporting community. You will be required to work at various venues and also visit local schools to implement our Sporting Programs and officiate games.

Here are some of the traits we are looking for in our coaches and referees.

First and foremost, you love sport and you're a team player. You know how to listen & communicate, you respect other people's ideas and opinions, and you're always open to collaborating and learning from the experience of others.

 

Secondly, you love working with kids, parents and helping the community. You love helping kids develop their skills, are enthusiastic about officiating games and enjoy teaching a variety of sports.

 

Thirdly, you're enthusiastic and excitable.  You're passionate about sports and always on the lookout for new ways to improve our program.

 

And finally, you're a do-gooder. You like to do good. You want to lift up communities and foster a connection between sports & a healthier lifestyle. And you want to do good work while you're doing it.
