Camp Overview:

The camp will focus heavily on preparing players for representative trials and the 6 Foundational Skills: - Dribbling, Shooting, Passing, Footwork, Court Vision and Movement.

This clinic is tailor-made to enhance players skills, boost their confidence, and prepare them for elite competition

Our camp scrimmages are not your ordinary scrimmages. Our games are purposeful and strategic and are designed to develop tactical skills, court vision, decision making and basketball I.Q.

Experience has taught us that players who possess these skills are recruited heavily at all levels of the game.

Day 1 Day 1: Shooting, Finishing & Ball Control

We will show players how to increase their range and shooting percentage. Players will learn high-level ball-handling, passing, dribbling and scoring techniques to help you make winning plays, break down defences and create scoring opportunities for you and your teammates.

Day 2: Physical & Mental Toughness

Toughness is a skill that can be developed. Learn what it takes to be physically and mentally tough for competition and trainings. Day 2 will introduce players to move's that their favourite players have in their tool kits to beat defenders. The day will be filled with basketball concepts, challenging drills and techniques that have helped the best players in the world become superstars.

Day 3: Playmaking, Read & React and Offensive Concepts

Players will learn popular 2- and 3-man actions in transition and half court, they will also learn the “HOW, WHY as well as WHEN" to perform and execute plays to increase their shooting percentage, create scoring opportunities and increase their teams winning average.

If players are struggling to understand or execute plays in-game, then this is the perfect camp to help develop playmaking skills, improve decision making, court vision, increase their confidence and give players an in-depth look into the skill of playmaking.

Day 4: Point Guard & Post Skills

Learn the skills, principles and mental concepts that players require to become proficient at the point-guard position. This camp is also recommended for players of all positions including shooting guards, small forwards, and centres. Players of all positions must develop perimeter and post skills to fully understand all aspects of each position. Players will work on isolation moves from the perimeter, working in the mid-post and various separation moves.

Players will also learn the key points of utilising ball screen reads & using screens.

Day 5: Transition Offense & Defensive Concepts & Game Awareness

The day will be filled with challenging game play, as our coaches place players into teams and implement various adavntage and disadvantage game like situations for players to develop their game awareness and improve their on court decision making, to find solutions to common game situations.

Who Should Attend This Program:

This program is for boys and girls currently play reps or who aspire to play competitively at representative level. Players should posses a competitive character, a deep desire to train and are ready to take the next step to becoming an impactful player.

This program is not exclusively for representative players. If a player has not played reps but is skilled, energetic and willing to work hard, they are welcome to join the camp. It is expected that players should know the basic fundamentals of basketball, be reasonably familiar with shooting mechanics, dribbling, passing, footwork and be comfortable within a competitive team environment.
